single account. Your account is limited to
12 characters. Your visible site rank will depend on which character you choose.
Do not start posting within the roleplay forums until your character is accepted. • Respect your fellow members. There is no tolerance to rudeness or discrimination of any kind. This also includes hateful or bashing comments directed at another Role Player/Admin, particularly those dealing with gender, race, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or national origin.
•Offensive or profane usernames are forbidden.
•Be active on the site. (This rule has a lot of leeway based upon IRL distractions)
•Advertising or spam anywhere on the site (this includes the chatbox and your signature) is forbidden. If you want your site to be seen please ask the owner or one of the Admins to become Affiliates.
•Do not Roleplay in the chatbox. It is meant for OOC and off-topic matters.
The Rain pack is play-by-post literate, semi-realistic forum. This means that the Rain pack progresses by the users posts. How each interaction ensues between characters is up to the users. That being said, the Rain Pack encourages each member to explore and meet all our pack mates. Being semi-realistic means that characters within the Rain pack are relatively normal, with a few exceptions. (Human attributions such as distinct personalities, emotions, ability to talk etc.) Occasionally, deviant fur markings and eye color will show up. This does not mean that characters can do back-flips and pick things up with their paws.
Please use proper punctuation, capitalization and grammar for both IC and OCC. Chatspeak in role play is not tolerated. Limited chatspeak in OOC may be tolerated, but try not to use it. When posting, we ask that you please edit your posts rather than re-posting.
The Rain Pack is rated PG-13. In-Characters posts may contain profanity, sexual content and violence. Any threads involving explicit sex, violence/gore and profanity are not allowed. This will be determined by the Admins. Participating in the use of mild PG-13 threads are up to each members discretion.
-In Character (IC):The Rain Pack has a post minimum of
20 sentences per character. That being said, please leave a distinction when using multiple characters, or we encourage posting separately for each character. Do realize that users may know of plot plans/ideas but characters do not. When IC, use
Third Person.In regards to Mating Season, the site rating remains the same. Use of mild PG-13 content is prohibited. Polygamy and incest is forbidden. Instances with "Casanova wolves" are allowed, however, mating with a stray will not go unpunished within the pack hierarchy.
Respect the higher ranks In-Character as much as Out-Of-Character. Alphas have complete control over hierarchy and pack dynamics. The only instance where authority can be challenged is when a lower ranking male challenges the current Alpha Male for his position. If this were to occur, the Alpha Female wouldn't have say over the matter.
-Out of Character (OOC):Please remember that a characters beliefs/opinions should not reflect a users. This means that there should be no personal attacks against another member. Respect your members.
The Rain Pack also discourages the use of chat-speak, even outside the forums. OOC speak is meant for the chatbox, PMs, or off-topic forums so please keep OOC speak to a strict minimum in the roleplay forums, or preferably none at all.
